Primal Rhythm is a Boorloo (Perth)-based underground music collective dedicated to curating high-energy, community-first events rooted in rhythm, movement, and connection. Known for their inclusive, low-ego dance floors and eclectic programming, Primal Rhythm has hosted both local and international artists, including Oldboy (UK), Traction Control (Malaysia), hosting international touring for in Malaysia Burna and Hally championing sounds that span techno, breaks, bass, and percussive club music.

The night is run in collaboration with Rhythm System, a forward-thinking event series founded by Perth local and community champion Joshua Claite. Claite has built an exceptional reputation for curating thoughtful, high-energy lineups that balance international talent with emerging and established local artists. Under his guidance, Therapy Club has welcomed acts like TDJ, DJ FUCKOFF, Osmosis Jones, Silva Bumpa, Baxter, and more, creating an inclusive, transformative space anchored by the motto "Wellness Through Dance & Music." R3LAX (Ty Thomas) is a Boorloo (Perth)-based photographer known for his raw and emotive 35mm film documentation of underground nightlife and dance culture. With a lens focused on the crowd—not the stage—he captures the sweat, chaos, and connection that define the dance floor. Driven by the imperfection and intimacy of film, R3LAX creates vivid, unfiltered portraits of collective release in dark rooms and strobe light. His work is an ongoing study of sound, space, and the people who bring them to life — having photographed artists and brands including Skin On Skin, Kettama, James Pepper, Ke-Yen, Panteros666, Wils*rish, and Garbage TV.
